Artist Agreement (Please Read)

The commissioned artist will be compensated a minimum of $500 if they agree to, and carry out, these project agreements in good faith: 1. Create a work of art that is accessible, substantial, and impactful to powerfully communicate the Green New Deal (GND). 2. Shoot a video with us for the Kickstarter campaign. 3. Promote our Kickstarter campaign to fund your project on social media each week. 4. Meet with Be the Green / other GND Art Coalition members weekly for support sessions to develop your art (for a total of 4-7 meetings). We will work with your process and needs as much as possible. 5. Participate in livestreams to share your purpose, process, and final product. - By agreeing to these terms, artists also acknowledge: That all works submitted are your own. That Be The Green (BTG) and the Green New Deal (GND) Art Coalition be granted usage of the chosen artwork, only for non-commercial display, educational, marketing and promotional purposes. BTG will credit each artist with their Name, Name of Piece, and website or social media handles, if applicable. The Artist shall maintain all copyrights of any images that are created. No resale of or exchange of images will occur by BTG. All images contained herein or attached to this website are the property of the artist and the artist retains the sole copyright and all applicable rights to said images.
